Pasquale Esposito was born and raised in Naples, Italy.  He is the youngest of five children, with four older sisters.  Pasquale developed his love for music at a young age and further honed his skills singing in the church choir.  It was at that early age that he noticed the miracles of music and that no matter how young or old, rich or poor, close or far in proximity the audience members lived, they all shared an affinity for music.  He realized that music was the tie that binds us all and is the true universal language.

While living in Italy, he enjoyed uniting and inspiring others, as well as showcasing his vocal gifts at local piano bars.  His performances at these intimate venues created opportunities for Pasquale to share his prodigious vocal talents and capture deep and profound connections with his audiences.  He has the unique ability to penetrate right into the emotional heartbeat of any song, classical or contemporary, with his warm tenor voice.  The sheer power of his unforgettable voice is able to transform the spirits of crowds, regardless of age group, and leave a lasting impression.

In 1998 after winning the US Green Card Lottery, Pasquale decided to pursue the American Dream and immigrated to the United States, where he would be able to further his goal of becoming a professional singer and songwriter.  He pursued his academic interests in music by focusing on vocal performance and completing his Bachelor of Arts degree at San Jose State University’s School of Music in 2009.  Throughout his coursework, Pasquale received training from world-renowned faculty.  Their musical contributions and legacies profoundly impacted Pasquale as an individual, community advocate, and as an artist.

Pasquale’s love of the Italian language and culture is apparent in his CDs: “My Passion” (2000), “My Destiny” (2004), “Naples … That’s Amore!” (2005), “Il Fornaio: Authentic Italy, Vol. 1”(2008), “A Brand New Me” (2009) and “Il Tempo” (2011).  These CDs reveal Pasquale’s remarkable capacity to perform both classical and contemporary Italian, English, Neapolitan and Spanish standards.  In March 2015, Pasquale released his long awaited seventh CD, “Pasquale Esposito Celebrates Enrico Caruso.”  The double CD includes an incredible compilation of Opera Arias, Neapolitan Songs and Original Compositions paying homage to the legendary Caruso.

Aside from working in the recording studio, Pasquale has toured both in the USA and abroad with several musical productions and concerts. From 2005 through 2007, Pasquale toured with the Italian musical revue: “Naples … That’s Amore!” Pasquale and Ettore Squillace, an accomplished director and choreographer from Naples, Italy, collaborated to write, direct and produce this production.  The show toured in the following cities: Santa Clara, CA, Stockton, CA, Pompeii, Italy, Naples, Italy, San Francisco, CA, Monterey, CA, San Jose, CA , Los Angeles, CA, San Diego, CA, Chicago, Il, and Boston, MA.  The last run of the show was at the historical Teatro Bellini in Naples, Italy in the spring of 2007.

In the fall of 2007, Pasquale had the opportunity to tour with Gigi D’Alessio and Anna Tatangelo, two of Italy’s finest pop artists, during their 2007 North American Tour. Aside from touring with these artists, Pasquale introduced his original music to the public for the first time in his 2007 concert tour of “Simply Pasquale!”  The concert series debuted in San Jose at the Montgomery Theatre in October and was later followed by performances at The State Theatre in Modesto and The Herbst Theatre in San Francisco.

In 2009, Pasquale released his CD: “A Brand New Me” consisting of original compositions in his distinctive pop-opera style.  The making of this CD was an international collaboration of many talents.  The music and lyrics were written by Pasquale Esposito and Antonio Aprile, a composer and an arranger from Naples, Italy. The recording of the CD took place in Italy and the United States under the supervision of Antonio Aprile and Ettore Gatta.  The transatlantic fusion of cultures and musicians resulted in a spectacular CD. Pasquale toured with his new CD throughout 2009 kicking off in Naples, Italy at Teatro Cilea on January 7, 2009.  Thereafter, Pasquale continued his “A BRAND NEW ME” tour performing throughout the USA: Boston, MA, Chicago, IL, Reno, NV, San Jose, CA, Monterey, CA, and San Diego, CA.

In December 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012, Pasquale had the opportunity to collaborate with the Mission Chamber Orchestra conducted by Emily Ray and Ettore Gatta to present “PASQUALE IN CANTO”.  These concerts presented Pasquale as the Tenor performing the most famous Italian opera arias, Neapolitan songs and his original compositions accompanied by at 60 piece orchestra. As a strong proponent of peace, humanity, respect, and goodwill, Pasquale continued to perform these concerts annually and selecting a non profit of his choice to support. As a strong proponent of peace, humanity, respect, and goodwill, Pasquale has continued his tradition of his annual December benefit concerts in 2013 and 2014 by donating of portion of the ticket sales\\\' proceeds to benefit a select number of nationally renowned nonprofits whose missions are to improve the quality of life and focus on underserved youth, education, health and human services, and the arts for all those involved. “There are those who inspire and those who create.  Those who make a difference everywhere and everyplace.” In December 2015, Pasquale presented his 7th benefit concert in San Mateo, CA benefitting Hope Services.

In June 2015, Pasquale made his successful debut at San Francisco Opera in their world premiere of TWO WOMEN.  The opera with music by Marco Turtino is based on a novel that was adapted into a classic movie starring Sophia Loren.  Pasquale received rave reviews nationally. The New York Times stated that he sang with airy charm and The San Francisco Chronicle described Esposito a charismatic and dulcet-toned singer that delivered a splendid account.
